Perl Developers is developing the market’s fastest growing and most innovative self-service technology platform for tenancy administration. We are looking for more team members – in Oslo, Berlin or remote – to join us in our expansion to an international company.

As a systems developer, you will join our skilled and experienced team (currently counting 28 and growing) to create solutions for our users by building and shaping the platform using proven tools and modern technologies.

You should have a focus on quality and be motivated to take on challenging tasks.

You will be involved in and/or take lead projects like; integration with partners, automation and simplification of processes that our customers use daily.

Who you are

As the newest member of our team you should have the following skill set

  • Relevant degree within information technology, but years of relevant experience can compensate for formal education
  • Deep understanding of modern web technologies
  • At home with RESTful APIs, and understanding of OpenAPI Schemas
  • Systems development of server side hosted applications
  • Ensuring quality using test methodologies

Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have experience and/or knowledge with/of

  • systems development in Perl
  • knowledge of Mojolicious
  • knowledge of DBIx::Class
  • familiar with SQL
  • familiar with Elasticsearch
  • working with source code revision systems such as Git
  • working with Docker-containers
  • working with microservices

Additional qualifications

  • Independent – as well as strong team player
  • Eager and quickly learns new technology
  • Genuinely interested in technology and an eye for what works, not what are trending buzz words
  • Are at home at the CLI
  • Takes responsibility, analytical and problem solver.
  • Communicate well in English. Norwegian and/or German is a plus, but not necessary.
